Avro Lancaster ME333 TL-S

Avro Lancaster ME333 TL-S, lost on 5th March 1945. The rear gunner, W/O Victor Roe CGM. DFM. was on his 100th mission, just a few weeks before the end of the war when the aircraft went missing. It is now known that the aircraft crashed in Chemnitz, probably as a result of a mid air collision whilst manoeuvring to avoid an enemy fighter.
